“The Witcher 2” Long Play: ‘Prologue’ w/ Allahweh

CONTENT WARNING!: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a dark, gritty, violent, and sexual game. Although it tells a fantastic story and is a lot of fun, it is very adult oriented and some content may be disturbing even for people over the age of 18! Viewer discretion is advised.

Back in 2012, I did a full 22-video playthrough of The Witcher: Enhanced Edition and it was very well-received. People enjoyed the cinematic style the series had and loved the commentary and narration I provided throughout. It actually, I think, really helped grow my YouTube channel. Since that time, several folks have asked when I would be ready to take on the sequel. I had actually owned the sequel since 2012, but held off on it because of how huge of an undertaking I knew it would be. Now, though, I am ready to tackle it!

Before we get much into it, I’d like to thank my awesome friend Alexander, who was a big fan of my first series and who has been politely pushing me to do this new series. His support means a lot, and I am grateful for it!

This series is being called a “Long Play” because the videos will not be abridged in any way. Each session will be recorded in full, and each video produced will be produced at feature length in such a way as to make the most sense. YouTube will let you resume a video and even remembers your place in it if you are logged in, so this should not be a problem for most.

In this video here, I take on the Prologue of the game, which takes about two-and-a-half hours of total playtime. I also use my webcam so you can watch me play this time. I am not sure if that will be the format for all of the series, or just a video here and there, but if you have a preference, let me know.

Now, I think it’s time to sit back, relax, and watch the story of the La Valette rebellion and the beginning of the kingslaying unfold (oh, and we will even find out a bit about Geralt’s “death” here in this video as well)!
