Keita Takahashi is the creative mind responsible for making games like Katamari Damacy, Noby Noby Boy and the upcoming Wattam happen. Now, him and Funomena has come out with an unexpected new project in the form of an mobile augmented reality game called Woorld. This free to download toy box game relies on Google’s AR Tango technology to be able to scan your real-life surroundings and place items all over. Apparently there is a goal you will want to achieve in the game, which will then unlock a sandbox mode that will allow you to do whatever you want.
The only unfortunate thing about this is the platform it’s coming out on. The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is the first Tango phone for consumers that costs $500. Since this is a pretty new and expensive product, there aren’t many people out there that own one, therefore a smaller amount of people will be able to play the game. In any case, we’ll keep you posted if this game comes out in any other mobile platform.
