Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA Confirmed For Switch

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will be released for Nintendo Switch for North America and Europe in 2018! This version’s content is based on  the PlayStation 4 version of the game and will contain the Deserted Pirate costumes, the Tropic Swimwear costumes, “Laxia’s Eternian  Scholar,” as well as six other cosmetic DLC.

The game was previously released for the PS4 as well as PS Vita, and is currently scheduled for the Switch and PC release. I had the opportunity to talk to NISA about this upcoming release and the PC version, and I’m happy to say that they seem dedicated to releasing a great product on both platforms. I stand by my previous statements that I think the PC version will be the definitive version of the game; however after using the switch all week I think I’m gonna spend more time with that version when it releases.
